Deck the Halls… Emmanuel shall come to thee
Steve Fenning

It’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas…Chestnuts roasting… Jack Frost nipping at your nose… folks dressed up like Eskimos…

And nothing makes you feel more Christmassy than being wrapped up warm against the cold, standing on a snowy street corner and singing Christmas carols. But have you ever stopped and listened to the words? Really listened? What were those ancient songwriters really talking about?

O come, O come, Emmanuel and ransom captive Israel
That mourns in lonely exile here until the Son of God appear
Rejoice! Rejoice! Emmanuel shall come to thee, O Israel.

How different would your life look like if you came to believe that God has always been with you, will always be with you and is with you right now?

Happy Christmas…
