God At The Movies

The Blind Side: What starts as kindness becomes much more…
29th August – Duncan & Debbie Banks

The summer blockbusters are here. And lets be honest, movies have messages. They influence what people think, including what people think about God. So how can we discern the messages behind the movies? And how can we marry them up with the big story of God? In short, how can we find God at the movies?

This week we move to the small screen for the latest DVD release. The Blind Side is based on an extraordinary true story of Michael Oher a sad homeless boy who become a top sportsman because of the kindness and care of a woman and her family. How can you use the power of simple kindness to change the world for others?
