If #Jesus used twitter | @Planetearth
Duncan Banks & Steve Fenning

Twitter has become so popular because you only have 140 characters in which to “tweet” what you want to say. You have to keep your message short and make it memorable. Nobody did that better than Jesus. Some of the most profound, life changing things Jesus said were 140 characters or less. In this series we are going to download some first century ‘Jesus tweets.’

God so loved the world… Arguably, his most famous tweet ever. Why is it so famous? Why does someone seem to always have a John 3: 16 banner at big sports events? Why is it more memorable than all the other words Jesus spoke?
Maybe its got something to do with the fact the whole of human existence comes down to these few words. And just maybe it means that the God of heaven is a lot closer than you think…
